When someone is arrested in the city of Bellflower, they will usually be taken to the Norwalk Jail, which is located at 12335 Civic Center Drive Norwalk, CA 90650. When the defendant arrives at the jail, he or she will then meet with an officer on duty, who will proceed to confiscate any personal belongings that the inmate may have.

 

They officer confiscates the belongings in order to put them in a safe place for the remainder of the time that the inmate spends at the jail. Once that is complete, the defendant will then begin the booking process, which has several parts and could take several hours depending on how busy the jail is. Once the agent finds out if the inmate is cleared for bail, the agent will then contact you so that you two could meet and fill out some paperwork.

 

Once you have filled out the necessary paperwork, the agent will then take the paperwork to the jailer so that it could be verified. When the jailer verifies that all of the necessary paperwork has been filled out, he or she will then begin the jail release process for the inmate. Once the jailer begins the jail release process, the inmate will then be released to custody of his or her loved ones to await their assigned trial.
